Features: Safety
Tongue (Hook Tongue): Recommended for applications where the
punch is segmented or when there is greater weight and/or
stripping pressure acting to draw the tool from the ram slot. Click
here for dimensions and more information. Flame
Hardening: Recommended where extra durability or wear life is
required. This is often desirable when working with particularly
abrasive materials or to maintain radii and wear surfaces in high
volume applications. Fine
Polished Finish: Recommended when forming materials that
require a minimum of marking. In these applications a super-fine
polished finish of approximately 10 micro-inch on the tools helps
to minimize marking and can be provided for a nominal extra
charge.
