need and the best price. How Much does it Cost to use FMSweb's Quoting and Buying Services? The best part about our services is that they're Free when you buy “In-Network” from one of our many preferred suppliers. In addition to being carefully screened and qualified, our "Preferred Suppliers" agree to pay FMSweb, Inc. a modest commission on the items you purchase from them to cover the cost of our services. What if I want a quote from a company that's not a FMSweb Preferred Supplier? If there's a particular company that you want a quote from that is not on the FMSweb "Preferred Supplier" list you can specify that in your request for quote. We'll contact them with the request for a quote and include their reply along with the quotes from our "FMSweb Preferred Suppliers". If you choose to buy from a company outside of our network we will add a modest service fee on to just those items purchased from the "Out-of-Network" supplier. The applicable service fee will be shown on the quote you receive. This allows you to still take advantage of the convenience and efficiency of our quoting and buying services even if a company you prefer to purchase from is not a "FMSweb Preferred Supplier". How can a company I prefer become a "FMSweb Preferred Supplier"? We are always interested in adding companies to our growing list of "Preferred Suppliers". Being a FMSweb Preferred Supplier benefits the supplier company by providing an additional opportunity to reach interested customers, and it benefits our FMSweb customers by providing a wider array of products to choose from. If a company you like to purchase from is not on our "FMSweb Preferred Supplier List" we encourage you to recommend them to us by clicking on the "Recommend a Supplier" link located in the menu bar at the lower left corner of our home page. We also recommend that you encourage the companies you like to buy from to become a "FMSweb Preferred Supplier".
